Welcome to 2nd Grade at South Jackson Elementary!

Welcome to second grade at South Jackson Elementary School! Our goal is to foster a love of learning in an engaging environment. We strive to prepare students for the transition into third grade by increasing their independence. We encourage our students to grow as independent readers, writers, and mathematicians. 

We value the importance of a strong classroom community. We live out the 7 Mindsets daily in our classrooms in order to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We strive for success at SJES!
