Welcome to South Jackson Elementary School!

South Jackson Elementary School is a PreK through 5th-grade elementary school located in Athens, Georgia.  We work hard each day to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of our students as we prepare them to be college and career-ready.  Our goal is for our students to be innovators and lifelong learners who leave our school with a strong academic foundation and solid character education.  Our school staff connects frequently with parents and the community through face-to-face meetings and events as well as online through platforms such as Remind and social media to help ensure the success of all of our students.  We welcome you to visit and/or volunteer at our school to see for yourself why we truly believe that every day is a great day at SJ!
